She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter D. McElroy and Opal "Ann" Russell McElroy. She is survived by : her significant other Howard Barbee; her daughter Stacey Smith (William); her grandchildren, Kalee Shearing (Justin), Kamile Holleman (Christian), Kendall Smith (Meredith) and Kevin Smith (Amber); and her great grandchildren, Julee Shearing, Kalin Shearing, Beau Holleman and Charlotte Joan Holleman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Midland Cat Wranglers, a cause very near and dear to her heart.
