He is survived by: his wife Renee Runkel; his daughter Amy Smith (Justin Smith); his grandsons, Austin and Mason; his daughter Kay Dee Reynolds (Cody Reynolds); his granddaughters, Charley and Madilyn; and his brother Jay Runkel (Edna Runkel).
