It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Sue Callaway of Midland, Texas, born in Glenmora, Louisiana, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Calvin Evans; her uncle Tommy Hudgens; her son Samuel Johnston; her father-in-law Bill Callaway; her niece Christina Evans Disler; and her siblings, Michael Evans and Wanda Leggett.

She is survived by : her mother Joy Hudgens; her aunt Doris Carlisle; her cousins, Sandra Carlisle and Will Hudgens; her niece Miranda Smrekar; her nephew Jeffrey Evans; her great-niece Laney Smrekar; her husband Michael Callaway; her stepmother Maxine Callaway; her siblings-in-law, Billy Callaway and Lisa Callaway; her niece Sarina Ramos; and her nephews, Jason Craven, Shelton Hand and Dylan Callaway. She is also survived by numerous friends, distant relatives, and in-laws.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Eickenhorst Funeral Services (12412 FM 2854 Rd, Conroe, TX 77304). A reception was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM at 27606 I-45, Conroe, TX 77385.

In lieu of flowers, Linda requested that those who wished to honor her in some small way could just do something that was kind, brought happiness to someone else, or maybe made the world a bit better in some way. Examples she gave included a donation to your favorite charity, volunteering an hour or two, or simply taking the time to drop a card or letter to an old friend or someone you love.
