She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert L. Richey, Jr. and Ida Mae McManus Richey; and her brother Peter Mitchell Richey. She is survived by: her husband Gary T. Brednich; her brothers, Herbert L. Richey III (Jennifer) and Joseph P. Richey (Bunnie); and her friends, Patti Kincaid, Terri Torres and Robin. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
She worked tirelessly on behalf of the Alzheimer's Association, to which memorial gifts are requested.
