We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 76, Suzanna Poe in Midland, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Suzanna find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Houston Poe and J. D. Poe; her brother David; and her grandparents, A. R. (Toad), Anna Mae Tom Houston, J. N. and Bettie Maude Barker Poe. She is also survived by friends and several cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (405 Convent St, Stanton, TX 79782). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (405 Convent St, Stanton, TX 79782).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Martin County Historical Museum (P.O. Box 929 Stanton, Texas, 79782) or to a favorite non-profit of choice.
