She was predeceased by : her parents, Claudius Bennett and Jessie Izora Wilson (Johnson); her husband Charles Smith; her sons, Charles Adrian Smith and James Kevin Smith; and her pet Dusty.
She is survived by : her children, Shirley Byrd and Kenneth Smith (Kathy). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
