He was predeceased by : his parents, Rowena Stromberg Brashears and William S. Brashears; his wife Annette; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Flynn and Patrick Flynn.

He is survived by : his son William Brannon Brashears; his brother Gerald Brashears (Robyn); his sister-in-law Debbie Brooks (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Joey, Jeremy, Joshua, Bostyn and Britysh. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews and many other family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manna House of Midlothian or Bill Glass Association in Duncanville.
