He was predeceased by : his grandfather Lance Cook; and his great-aunt Regina Cook. He is survived by : his parents, Reginald Paul and Christina Dawn Cook (Offill); his wife Reagan Cook; his sons, Gavin and Zane Cook; his brother Gage Cook; his grandparents, Lisa Cook, Carol St, Cyr, Garry Thompson, Debbie Elguezabal (Adolfo), Ralph Smetana, Vickie Cooke, Rick and Linda Offill; his great-grandparents, Roy and Jody Smith; his parents-in-law, Butch and Kelly Jessup; his sisters-in-law, Taylor Jessup (Joe Davis) and Blayke (Taner Shott); and his aunts and uncles, Shanna Smetana, Melissa Clements (Cody), Brandon Smetana, Liz Carrasco and Robbie Simpson (Jeremy). He is also survived by two nieces, four nephews; and his 157 brothers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Reagan, Gavin, and Zane, at the First National Bank of Ballinger, in Garrett's honor. The family wishes to thank everyone for all the prayers, love, food, and donations.
