She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Askey and Paul Knieff; her husband Alton Baird; her siblings, Paula Franklin and Larry Wayne Knieff; and her nephew Mark Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Baird Sosolik (Bobby), Alton Todd Baird and Robert Paul Baird; and her grandchildren, Corey Speck (Stacye), Morganne Speck, Jordan Baird, Odessa Baird (Carrie), Cheyenne Baird, Reese Baird, Grayson Baird, Logan Speck, Victoria Speck, Briley Speck, Christabella Gonzalez, Kinlee Baird, Tristan Martinez, Eleanor Baird, Evelyn Tietze and Kelly Custer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (404 7th St, Miles, TX 76861). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Miles Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, an organization that was close to Linda's heart.
