He was predeceased by: his son David Jason Powell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Powell of Minden; his daughter Karen Holland (Nathan) of Henderson; his daughter-in-law Naomi Powell Wills of Bullard; his sister Margaret Minchew of Longview; and his grandchildren, Kayley, Esau, Levi, Jonathan and Grayson.
