She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Warren Hicks and Hazel Juanita Hicks (Davis); and her son Jason Charles Powell. She is survived by: her husband JC Powell; her daughter Jill Boykin (Scott Boykin); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Powell; her grandchildren, Sarah Boykin (Luis Gonzalez), Jeorgia Powell, Chance Powell (Jordan Powell), Jace Boykin and Jonathan Charlie Powell; and her great grandchildren, Leighton Powell and Crew Powell. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to Hospice of East Texas or the Damascus Cemetery Association, PO Box 474, Lindale, Tx 75771.
