She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Slayton and Zora Slayton; and her husband James Lockey. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Lockey (Sandy) of Tyler, Lesia Robertson (Tim) of Mineola and Sheila Stripling of Mineola. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beaty Funeral Home (5320 TX-37, Mineola, TX 75773).
