She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clarence and Eliza Flora Judy Laird; her husband Wesley Buffington; her sister Lillian Duff; and her grandson James Curtis Burns.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Ann Riley of The Dalles, OR, Patricia Faye Fletcher (Jeff) of The Dalles, OR and Teresa Lynn Burns (Mike) of Edgewood; and her sister Sue Metcalf of Choudrant, LA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
