With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jody Pankey in Mineral Wells, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephriam Thomas and Ruby Thomas (Cox); her former husband Walter Long; her grandchildren, Brandie Childers and Doug Long; and her sister Alena Bell.
She is survived by: her husband James Pankey; her son Danny Long; her daughter-in-law Nancy Long; her daughter Donna Garvin; her son-in-law Billy Garvin; her grandchildren, Paula Chalker (Courtney) and Jimmy Long (Melody); her great grandchildren, Keith Chalker (Callie), Sonny Chalker, Kaleb Chalker, Kelsey Parker, Kylie Short, David Ross and Addie Ross; and her great great grandchildren, Grady and Ryan Chalker.
