She is survived by : her husband David Barrera Garcia; her children, Aldelaido Garza Jr., David Barrera Jr. and Natalia Barrera; her grandchildren, Evelynn Barrera and Madelynn Barrera; and her siblings, Jose Angel Hernandez, Jr., Maribel Suarez, Juan Alberto Hernandez and Karina Hernandez.

A rosary was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (621 W Main Ave, Alton, TX 78573). A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lord & I Cemetery- Palmview Tx (1203 E Goodwin Rd, Palmview, TX 78572).
