He is survived by: his wife Patsy Baebel Mills; his children, Mindy Mills Barends (Rob) and John Michael Mills (Sarah Wilkerson); his grandchildren, Ian Barends and Mila Barends; his brother Jerry D. Mills (Teena); his sibling's children, Krisen Ashworth (Monroe), Charlyn Gilmore (Bret) and Jeff Mills (Jeannie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madilyn Pafford, Lexi Kubiak (Klein), Sarah Mills, Austin Mills, Quint Ashworth, Wells Ashworth, Matthew Pafford and Max Pafford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Martin's Episcopal Church Endowment Fund or to the American Diabetes Association.
