She was predeceased by: her parents, Reynaldo Sanchez and Guadalupe Sanchez. She is survived by: her husband Joe I. Holguin; her siblings, Michael Holguin (Rebecca) of Fort Worth, Joanna Ortiz (James Ortiz) of Odessa and Joe I. Holguin (Corina Almanza) of Gainesville; and her grandchildren, Austen Holguin, Alexander Holguin, Brian Wise, Analaura Holguin, Bryce Ortiz and Brandy Ortiz.
She was apart of organizations such as the Salvation Army, Feeding America, and played a big role in the AIDS pandemic such as, providing comfort and symptoms management to several patients.
