He is survived by : his close friend Bill Conroe; his friends, Buddy Holcomb and Charles Cluxton; his wife Jeffie Dunaway; his sons, Martin Dunaway (Sherri) and Bart Dunaway; his stepsons, Shane Simpson (Becky) and Scotty Simpson (Sara); his grandchildren, Emily Dunaway, Cameron Dunaway and Carson Dunaway; his stepgrandchildren, Ella Simpson, Mary Claire Simpson, Carter Simpson, Payton Simpson and Tucker Simpson; his sister Ruth Morris (Frank); and his sister-in-law Linnell Dunaway.
