She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parent America; her husband Juan Porfirio Montez; her children, Eluid G. Montez, Edna Martinez (Quelfido) of Moore, Eloy Montez (Selma) of Alice and Eden Montez (Elizabeth) of Cedar Creek; her sisters, Hermila Villagomez of Kerrville, Hermelinda Galvan of Kingsville and Mary Frances Anderson of Von Ormy; and her grandchildren, Victoria Martinez, Juan Martinez, Marcos Montez and Emilio Montez.
