She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Lee and Cordia Lavinder (Wright); her husband L. B.; her sons, Donald D. Minor and Ronald Minor; and her siblings, Annie Short, Opal Lashbrook, Charlie Lavinder, Luther Lavinder and Orville Lavinder.

She is survived by : her children, L. B. Minor Jr. (Levie) of Lubbock, Texas, Mary Halsey (Don) of Richardson and Prescillia Brown (Freddie) of Morton, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
