He was predeceased by : his parents, W. B. Merritt and Glynna Merritt (Kennedy). He is survived by : his sons, Colton Merritt (Amanda) of Morton, Chase Merritt (Katie) of Morton and Crey Merritt of Morton, Texas; his brother Donnie Merritt (LeAnn) of Morton, Texas; and his grandchildren, Bayler, Kingston, Evie, Taygan and Jameson.
