He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Matlock and Mattie B. Nettles Matlock; and his siblings, Thomas Matlock, Harrison Matlock, Billy Matlock, Terry Matlock, Troy Matlock and Betty Sallee.
He is survived by : his wife Charlcye Matlock of Mt. Enterprise; his daughter LaNae Risinger (Johnny) of Mt. Enterprise; his siblings, Gary Lynn Matlock of Mt. Enterprise and Rita Hughes (Richard) of Center; his granddaughters, Farrah Rios (Luis) of Lufkin and Skye Risinger of Mt. Enterprise; and his great grandchild Zayden Rios of Lufkin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
