He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles R Mayhugh, Sr. and Lydia Campbell; and his sisters, Juanita Kirk and Florene Jones. He is survived by : his daughter Karen Nickels (Nicky); and his grandchildren, Randi Bomar Carey, Kristie Fresquez (Joe), Staci Kaye Jones, Charlie Bomar and Brooklyn Bomar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“Charles was a true Christian friend to our daddy, Walt Sain. They spent many Sundays in Sunday School and church. Daddy was proud to have Charles take his Sunday School teacher role upon our dads passing almost 10 years ago. He was a very good friend outside of church as well. Prayers are with his family and especially my sweet friend, his and Jo Addine’s daughter, Karen and her family.”
