She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles L. Pingel and Martha Marie Pingel (Bischel); her husband Frank Ellis; and her siblings, Beulah "Beth" Pingel, Betty Lou Compton, Charles Dale Pingle and Wayne Pingel.

She is survived by : her sons, Frank "Trey" Ellis III (Tracy) of Friona, Dan Ellis (Teresa) of Smithville and Todd Ellis (Starla) of Muleshoe, Texas; her sister Patricia Ann Skelpsa (Vince) of Phoenix, Arizona; her sister-in-law Berna Ruth Ellis of Amarillo, Texas; her grandchildren, Quint Ellis (Ivy), Whitney Rodriguez (Huber), Josh Ellis, Brian Ellis, Becky Tiner (Glenn), Colt Ellis (Leslie) and Dusty Clayton (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Drew, Reid, Lane, Vivian, Finn, Isaac, Kenna, Kayde, Jake, Jordyn, Roslyn, Bentlee and Collins.
