With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Lea Brannen (Nacogdoches, Texas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her brother Stephen Michael Horn (Tommy). She is survived by: her husband Buster Duke Brannen; her daughter Amber Brannen Malowitz; her sister Jimmie Sue Wood; her daughter Dee Ann; her son-in-law Matthew Lee Carney of Pflugerville, Texas; her grandchildren, Kristen, Matthew Ryan Carney and Kendall Malowitz; and her siblings, Jan Kilpatrick (Claude) and Joe Horn (Rhea). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (5127 North St, Nacogdoches, TX 75965).
