It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Isabella (Williams) Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas, born in Fordyce, Arkansas, who passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Williams and Buck Williams; her husband C. S. "Shorty" Jones; her son Charles; her daughter-in-law Jo Marie Jones; and her brothers, Grover Williams, Elmer Williams (Mary Louise) and Houston Williams (Nell).
She is survived by: her children, Rose Ann Pool (Charles) and C. Stanley Jones (Diane); her sister Alma Ruth Shofner (Vyrne); her grandchildren, Ricky Jones (Patricia), Lydia Jones Noble (Jay) of Sherman, Teresa Jones Smith (Paul) of Richardson, Ed Pool (Nicole), Chris Pool (April) of Jasper, Clay Jones (Andrea) and Angie Jones Risher (Chris) of Austin; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Jones (Emily), Stephen Jones (Hannah), Samuel Jones, Jacob Noble (Hallie), Sarah Noble, Courtney Smith, Rebecca Smith, Patrick Smith, Callie Pool Berry (Shawn), Abby Pool Taylor (Chase), Millie Pool Wilson (Tim), Colton Pool, Allison Pool, Cason Pool, Ashlyn Jones, Cait Jones, Claire Risher and Jonathan Risher. She is also survived by brothers and later a younger sister.
