She was predeceased by: her mother Dede Scogin (Cochran); her grandparents, Jackie Cochran and Burt Cochran; and her aunt Rhonda Weisinger. She is survived by: her father Mike Scogin (Mary Morales) of Huntington; her husband Cody Causey of Nacogdoches; her daughters, Charlie Ruth Causey of Nacogdoches and Camilla Causey of Nacogdoches; her sister Shelby (Krysti Scogin) of Huntington; her nephews, Jakob Kasper of Huntington and Kyle Kasper of Huntington; her grandparents, George, Pat Scogin of Lufkin and Jerry Phillips of Huntington; her parents-in-law, Sabrina and Cliff Causey of Huxley, TX; her grandmother Lois Cochran of Cleburne, TX; her aunt Lashell; her uncle Jeff Carrick of Washougal, WA; and her cousins, Delaney Carrick of Washougal, WA and Brady Carrick of Washougal, WA.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at the Cochran Cemetery (1301 Rhodes St, Huntington, TX 75949).
