He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jackie and Darrell. He is survived by: his children, Michael Tarpley of Central Heights, Stacy Herring of Trinity and Tracy Tarpley of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Zachary Tarpley (Tristan), Ryan Jeffcoat (Carley), Brylea Jeffcoat of Nacogdoches, Brian Trotter of Troup, Brody Trotter of Central Heights, Dakota Trotter (Whitney), Corey Trotter of Beckville, Emily Blake (Jeb), Jacob Tarpley (Miranda) and Shelby Stotts of Buffalo; his mother Weltha Raney (Pat Tarpley); his siblings, Danny Tarpley of Red Oak, Graylen Tarpley of Jacksonville and Jean Campbell of Navasota; and his brother-in-law Ed Birdwell, Jr. of Douglassville. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
