She was predeceased by: her father Reeves Holt; her husband Harold Donece Oates; her mother Esther Mae Dockens Danley; and her siblings, Murvel Holt, Tommy Lynn Holt, Billie Jean Holt Hinton and Bonnie Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Reeves Oates (DuJuana "Susie") and Terrie Jean McAden; her grandchildren, Rachel D'Lyn Oates Clark (Cliff) and Joshua Chase McAden (Wendy Serrano); her great grandchild Callyn Reese Clark; and her brother-in-law Daryl Wade Oates (Ann).
