He was predeceased by: his parents, Ara New and James Doyle Gray; his wife Glenda Gray; his son-in-law Terry Rose; his siblings, Jerry Gray, Glen "Okie" Gray and Gwen Browning; his sister-in-law Peggy Gray; and his nephew Rodney Browning.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Rose, Doug Gray of Hooks, TX. and Casey Gray of Hooks, TX.; his grandson Dillon Gray of Laporte, TX.; and his sister-in-law Sue Gray of Wake Village, TX.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chapelwood Funeral Home (1015 N Kings Hwy, Nash, TX 75569).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to be made to Habitat for Humanity of Texarkana or Texarkana Animal League.
