It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hollis Hood of Navasota, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hood and Mildred Hood (Berryhill); his sister Nata Lea Eastman (Phil); his sister-in-law Dorothy Payne MacDonald (Brian); and his son Thomas "Tommy" Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Willene Hood; his daughter Debra; his son-in-law Brian Cusson; his sister-in-law Marsha Byrd (James); his daughter-in-law Susan Hood Franz (Marvin); and his grandsons, Gavin Cusson (Angelina), Connor Cusson, Spencer Cusson and Thomas H. Hood (Jessalyn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Navasota (301 Church St., Navasota, TX 77868).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Navasota Building on the Foundation fund, 301 Church St, Navasota, TX 77868.
