John Carlos Acosta Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Carlos Acosta (Navasota, Texas), born in College Station, Texas, who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Rudy Flores. He is survived by: his wife Savannah Marie Acosta; his sons, Rhys and Grayson Acosta; his parents, Dalia (Jose) and Carlos Acosta (Ancy); his siblings, Anthony Acosta, Christian Alfaro, Ian Acosta, Cortney Alfaro (Brandon Johnson) and Issa Acosta; his grandparents, Delfino Acosta Jr., Maria and Delores Flores; his aunts and uncles, Aleida (Blake Jarvis), Mary Flores (Joe Munoz), Rodolfo (Cecilia Flores), Delfino (Lisa Acosta), Nora Cumpian, Mary Acosta (Gilbert Hinojosa) and Enrique (Maria AcostaAdditionally); his parents-in-law, David and Sandra Karkoska; and his siblings-in-law, Paul and Larissa Karkoska. He is also survived by niece, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Hope Church (7908 N Hwy 6 Loop, Navasota, TX 77868). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Oakland Cemetery (801 6th St, Navasota, TX 77868). A reception was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 22029 Kathy Fleming Rd, Millican, TX 77866.
