He was predeceased by: his parents, Audry Hope Shearin and Thomas Duncan Rogers; his siblings, Betty Coody, Thomas Duncan Rogers Jr. and Ray "Stump" Rogers; and his granddaughter Morgan Lee Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Hall; and his children, Lowell David (Beth) of Beaumont, Douglas "Buddha" (Sandy) of Mont Belvieu and Rebecca Lee of Port Neches. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and his beloved cat.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon's Funeral Home (1605 Avenue H, Nederland, TX 77627). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the Oak Bluff Memorial Park (618 Block St, Port Neches, TX 77651).
