She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Sanders (Lawson) and Jess Ernest Sanders; her brothers, John Paul (JP) and Ernest Hugh Sanders; and her husband Johnny Hampton Vinson.

She is survived by: her children, Bud, Jackie Vinson Scroggins (Randy), Vicki Vinson Cantwell (Greg) and Johnny Hampton Vinson II (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Kyle Scroggins (Brittany), Courtney Scroggins Critz (John), Cameron Scroggins (Carli), Christopher Scroggins, Carissa Scroggins Sherman (Marshall), Caitlin Scroggins Atnip (Brandon), Blake Vinson, Brittany Vinson Dobransky (Austin), Brianna Vinson, Austin Cantwell (Chelsea) and Gunnar Cantwell; and her caregivers, Maggie, Brandy, Stormy and Tiffany of Catered Living. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
