He was predeceased by : his parents, James W. Missildine and Ina H. Griffith Missildine; his former life partner Brenda Renee Barfield; his brothers, Gerald Missildine and James Lee Missildine; and his niece Lisa Fannin.

He is survived by : his children, Chris (Corrie Moody), Hunter Wayne Missildine (Beverly Davis) and Georgia Missildine of New Boston, Texas; his former life partner Christie Missildine of New Boston, Texas; his brother Ray Missildine of Avery, Texas; and his nephew Larry Missildine. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
