She was predeceased by : her parents, L. P. Sturgeon and Martha Link Sturgeon; her grandmother Nellie Mae McGee; her brother Lee Sturgeon; her son Donald Howard; and her stepson Trampas Alvin Blackford (Alvin Dan Blackford).
She is survived by : her son Robert Wayne Howard, II (Connie Lyn Wilson); her grandchildren, Trey Howard (Roberta Marquez) of Las Cruces, NM and Katy Howard Waserman (Noah) of Las Cruces, NM; and her daughter Ashley Anne Howard Stonesifer (Greg Stonesifer) of Seabrook, Texas..
