It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickey Joe McClaran of New Boston, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Melba Jo Franks McClaran and Paul Ellis McClaran; his grandparents, Clyde Ellis McClaran, Dolly Grider McClaran, Cleve and Daisy Franks; and his sister Dena Ann Dunson.

He is survived by : his wife Juanita McClaran of New Boston, Texas; his son Ronnie Jo's (Miranda McClaran); his brother Larry Paul; his siblings-in-law, Bridget McClaran of Malta, Texas and Tony Dunson; his nieces and nephews, Savannah Quinn, Kinsey Dunson, Emilia Kay Akins, Clark, Thomas Quinn and Chris Candelaria; his close friends, Sid Cockrell, Shauna Gerber, Teesa Stockmann, Amanda Bell, Doug White, Alex Kugler, Kyle Edwards and Steven Fowler; his cousins, Jane Forrester and Carolyn McClaran; and also Ronnie Chisum of Okinawa, Japan. He is also survived by many other special friends and co-workers.
