She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pruitt and Pearlie Caddenhead Pruitt; her husband Wallace Shaw; her granddaughter Kristy Barton; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Mary (Charles Telford), Barbara (Kevin Hanna), Charles Shaw of New Boston and John (Jammie Shaw); her sisters, Beverly (Nelton Atkins) and Evelyn (Bill Chaney); and her grandchildren, Joshua, Katherine, Jessica, Markus, Clifton, Jacob, Carol Ann, Charles Jr., Dillon, Lisa, Morgan, Derrick Dakota, Caitlin, Chelsea and Lacey. She is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
