He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Meier and Merna Meier of Peetz, Colorado.; his brothers, Merv and Gary Meier; and his sister-in-law Margaret Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Martha LaRue Meier; his sister Merrylee Williams; his daughters, Susan Stecklein (Jeff), Karen Meier, Sharon Meier and Stacey Burdett; and his grandchildren, Riley Latus, Elliot Stecklein, Ethan Stecklein, Austin Spears (Janene) and Allie Martinez (Ramiro). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
