She was predeceased by: her husband James D. Helton; and her son James D. Helton Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Sholar-Griffiths and Margie H. Whittenburg; and her grandchildren, Vanessa O. Tambula, Olivia R. Craig, James W. Sholar and Margie Lee Alaniz. She is also survived by Eight great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and many many friends.
