He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Earl Sparrow and Dorthy Alberta Hebert Sparrow; his former life partners, Ellyn Threet and Nancy Jacobs; his daughter Maribeth Merton; and his siblings, Ray, Aubrey, Andrew Sparrow, Ruby, Yetta and Dorothy.
He is survived by : his wife Kathy Jo Sparrow; his children, Stephen Whiteside Sparrow (LaRue), Mark Sparrow (Shirley), Cindy Coach (Todd), Nathan Sparrow, Amy Sparrow and Sarah Sparrow; and also, Gilda Bunting (Huck) and Glenda Rae Slayter (Lamar). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
