He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Lawrence Smith, Sr. and Constance Gigstad Smith; and his brother-in-law Bobby Berry. He is survived by: his wife Christie Smith; his children, April (Mark Gregg), Amanda (Marc Fritz) and Adam (Eri Smith); his grandchildren, Connor, Caroline Gregg, Anna, Erica Fritz, Ray and Yuna Smith; and his sister Becky Berry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels, whose compassionate care provided great in his last days.
