He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Caldwell and Herbert Caldwell; and his sister Alice Abelt. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Caldwell; his children, Donna (Bobby Boales), Cindy Boyce, Sandra Harst, James (Marina Caldwell) and David Caldwell; his grandchildren, Michael Vestal, Matthew (Kristian Vestal), Amanda (Ben Nowotny), Christopher Boyce, Patrick Boyce (Morgan), Andrew (Amber Boyce), Eric Boyce, Adam Boyce, Tiffany Stevens, Alan Harst, Marc (Ally Harst), Gloria Caldwell and Jonathan Caldwell; and his sister Leonore Lee.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Zoeller Funeral Home (615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A rosary was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (386 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery (301 Peace Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church and School or to charities of your choice.
