She was predeceased by : her father Elias Velasquez; and her grandfather Manuel Gutierrez, Sr.. She is survived by : her grandmother Luzita Gutierrez; her mother Beatrice "Betty" Wiginton (Don) of New Braunfels; her siblings, Roy Garcia, Jr., Eleazar Velasquez, Elias Velasquez and Annie Marie Hoerner; and her sons, Keandre Richardson, Aiden Richardson, Keith Alvarez and Dez Zamora. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
