He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Marie Hewes. He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Marie Hewes Johnson of Houston and Amy Ann Hewes Piper (Dean Piper) of Spring Branch; his grandchildren, Andrew Hewes (Jessica Hewes) of Lago Vista, Christopher Piper of San Antonio, Katrina Piper (Ryan Pearcy) of San Antonio, Kayla Piper of San Antonio and Amanda Johnson of Houston; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Hewes and Austin Hewes.
