We bid farewell to Jeanette Shelton Prell of New Braunfels, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Jeanette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, L. W. Shelton and Ruby Shelton; her husband Leonard B. Prell; and her siblings, Lester Wayne Shelton, Laticia Shelton and Wallace Shelton.

She is survived by: her children, Laticia Marie of New Braunfels and Edward LeMark Lasater of Chula Vista, CA; her granddaughters, Erica LeAnn and Elisa Lauren Lasater; her great grandchild Audriana; and her sisters, Betty Ann Hildebrand of New Braunfels and Lisa Jones of New Braunfels. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church.
