He was predeceased by: his parents, Estevan Zavala, Sr. and Ricarda Zavala (Rios); his wife Cruz Rosa Zavala; and his siblings, Joe Zavala, Fernando Zavala, Fred Zavala, Sostemo Zavala, Petra Perez, Macaria Mart, Margarita Gonzales and Anita Chavez.
He is survived by: his son Leroy; his daughter-in-law Diana Zavala; his brother Estevan Zavala, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Leroy Zavala, Jr., John Daniel Zavala, Brittany Mager and Jadyn Zavala. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
