She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Stewart and Janice Dean Stewart. She is survived by: her sister Jonni Doeppenschmidt; her sibling's children, Amy Davis (Gabe) and Lawrence Doeppenschmidt (Flavia); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Wayne Whitaker (Susan), Rhegan Davis (Sara), Kymeri Davis, Isaya Davis (Cherokee), Abigayle Louis (Andrew), Sofia and Amelia Davis; her grandsons, Travis and Jordan Whitaker; and her cousins, Holly Harrell (Hubert), Michael Heck (Cheri) and David McNally (Amy).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Karen's name to be sent to New Braunfels Fellowship Bible Church Missionary Fund.
