Melendez III (Angelica Melendez) and Jaime Melendez; her grandchildren, Teresa L. Melendez, Alfonso L. Melendez, Agustin A. Melendez and Tomas A. Melendez; and her mother Maria Garcia. She is also survived by her numerous siblings, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many, many nieces, and nephews.

Maria's faith in Jesus Our Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Spirit, and the Catholic Church were the foundation of her life, marriage, and family.
