With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Fischer (New Braunfels, Texas), who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Louis Weir and Mary Weir (Blackstock); her husband George H. Fischer; her siblings, Mary Louise Mayo of North Carolina and Billy Louis Weir of California; her nieces, Patricia M. Lynch (William) of North Carolina, Catherine E. Schoenthaler (David) of North Carolina, Sandra L. Mayo (David) of North Carolina and Deborah L. Davis of Oregon; and her nephew Daniel Louis Weir (Teresa) of California. She was also cherished by numerous great-nieces & great-nephews, additional relatives and dear friends.

Graveside Services with social distancing will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations in LaVerne's memory may be made to: Hope Hospice.
